The Armstrong House

The Armstrong House is a newly renovated off-the-grid house originally constructed in 1917, in Pound Ridge, New York.  As the focal point of the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy's 'Living Lighter on the Land' campaign, the Armstrong House and surrounding 43 acres serve as a laboratory for:
  • Wildlife habitat protection
  • Low energy housing
  • Low impact home renovation
  • Local food production
  • Community gatherings
For more information on the Armstrong House (including history of the project, photographs, mission statement, energy system schematics, event, programming) please visit the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy's website.
